Greetings, cooklings!
Let's start with the good news, shall we? 

First off, fulfillment is essentially complete! Woohoo! Pat yourselves on the back and raise a toast to the merciful gods of shipping. At the time of this writing, only 6 packages remain "In transit", all of them international. We can (almost) rest easy. That said, if there was, or is, any problem with your rewards themselves or the delivery thereof, please dont hesitate to reach out to us. We'll get it sorted right quick!

Second, and even MORE exciting (You didn't think that was possible, did you?)... 

Flavor Text Adventures Vol. 1 is NOW AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE!!! Yep, you asked for it, and Alton obliged. You, or all your envious friends who missed out on the Kickstarter, can now purchase the book (in dead tree or PDF form), art prints, coasters, and stickers on our webstore here: FlavorTextAdventures.com

And last, but not least... the story of how we get to check "Publish Errata!" off our bucket list, more affectionately known as "The Unfortunate Case of the Go@tfu$#er!"

You see, when we set out making this book a reality, we knew it just had to have an index. And a good one! We yearn for the return of the glory days of gaming books with indexes and we were driven to do our part. We saved the index to last, and when the book was finalized (or so we thought) we created the index, added it to the book, and sent the files to the printer. Well... as it turned out, we were one page short of meeting the binding needs, and the printer requested we add one. 

So... we did. To the front of the book (the title page). And promptly sent the files back, forgetting to update the index to account for that additional page.

Yeaaaah. We know. This is when you facepalm yourself like Picard in a ready-room full of Ferengi encylopedia salesmen.

We only disocevered the grievous error when one of YOU amazing folks noticed the term mentioned in this story's title in the Index, but not on the page it was listed. They were, justifiably, curious. And messaged us about it. 
And so... here we are.

What now? Well, you have two options:

Option A- You should be getting an email from BackerKit with a link to download the Errata Index. Basically a PDF of the corrected index, which you can print and put right into the book if you like. Or...

Option B- Save the image below, print it out, and put it into the book. It's much easier and funnier.

Good tidings, my spicy nibbles!

Digital Rewards:

All digital rewards are now complete and ready for download. Keep a look out for an email from BackerKit with links to your files. 

These include (Depending on your pledge levels and add-ons):
*Flavor Text Adventures Vol. 1 PDF - A full, hi quality, PDF of the book! 
*Battlemaps for both VTTs and print - High quality maps from the various chapters in the book. Where appropriate, these are scaled up to 1" square grids, so you can print them to use on your tabletop games. For VTTs, the larger maps are cut into quarters, to allow you to more easily upload them into your favorite platform, but you'll have to arrange them side-by-side to display the full map. The smaller maps are also available in the usual page size to be printed as handouts for players.
*Various Flavor Text Adventures chapters, for backers who added them on in BackerKit.

We're still getting used to the BackerKit platform, and there were quite a few digital options available, so if you encounter any issues or one of your rewards is missing, please dont hesitate to message us here and we'll look into it!

Physical Rewards:

We've begun packing and shipping rewards, and everything seems to be on track.
US backers can probably expect tracking numbers by the end of next week, and the books themselves by the end of the month or first week in November. International backers will get tracking numbers very soon after, but with the varied shipping times to various countries, it's impossible to predict how long it would take for your rewards to get to you. If you experience any issues, feel free to reach out to us!

 

THE BOOKS ARE HERE!!!

WOOHOO!!! The books arrived yesterday and oh boy is my back sore today. Must figure out how to cast Unseen Servant next time and have them do the heavy lifting.

But... the books look AMAZING!!! I couldn't be happier!

Shipping supplies are also on their way, and fulfillment will officially begin next week. Keep an eye out for emails from Backerkit about your shipping charges etc.

So far, everything is still on track! Can't wait for you all to get the book into your hands!

OMG! OMG! OMG! I'm so excited!!! The books are actually printed, and will be on their way here very soon. It's surreal to see Flavor Text Adventures in physical print, and I can't wait to actually hold one in my hands.  Isn't it GORGEOUS???

Cross your fingers that shipping goes smooth! So far we're on track to meet our original delivery schedule. Woohoo!
