A very quick update!
The polls are closed and the votes are in! Thank you to all those who voted!
Red Dragon and Pixie are the clear winners, with Gelatinous Cube and Cockatrice coming in third and fourth.
We're excited to add the two winners to the book (expect some fun magic items like Ol' Painless, a greatclub designed to take down hordes of small minions), and delicious Dragon Wellington and Pixie Dust Strawberries!
The other favorites we'll definitely consider for Volume 2, which we're already thinking about.
In an earnest attempt to minimize the number of updates you get from us, the next one will be later this month with the likely opening of our pre-order store on Backer Kit, where you could finalize your choices for rewards like the print, add-ons, and your shipping address.

It is done! Flavor Text Adventures will finally see a physical book, and with a bunch of improvements, and it's all thanks to YOU!
For a first Kickstarter, this campaign was an amazing success, and I am truly grateful to each and every one of you who chose to support this project. Alton, were he to write this update, would probably have some words about how it's an obvious choice, since he's so devilishly handsome, but really... thank you!
In fact, you're so awesome that you managed to roll some 20's on your stealth checks, and sneak in the Dust Jacket stretch goal while I was busy writing this update, minutes before the finish line!
While we didn't unlock the stretch goals for new content, fear not! We still plan on working with Alan Patrick and Ed Greenwood, and we just might work those goals into the post-campaign Backer Kit add-ons. We'll see.
What's next? It'll take about a week or so for Kickstarter to process your pledges and finalize them. At that time, since we unlocked the TWO extra chapter goals, we'll send out an update to you with a quick survey. In this update will be a short list of chapters and you'll be able to vote for 2 of them to be added into the book.
In the meantime, we've already begun working on the art and other content improvements, and we'll set up our Backer Kit fulfillment page where you'll be able to finalize your pledges, get some add-ons, etc.
But right now, I'm going to celebrate, and take a nap!
